- Shorty's - 821 Tarpon. The "oldest and friendliest" in Port A. with 60 years in business. They offer a unique atmosphere with live music on the weekends. Open 10-2 everyday. They are a beer bar so you can bring your own bottle if you want.

- The Salty Dog - 203 N. Alister. "The Coolest Honk Tonk on the Gulf Coast ". They offer live entertainment with all types of music, karaoke, mixed drinks and cold beer. Open 12-2 everyday
- Back Porch Bar - 132 W. Cotter, located next to Woody's Sports Center . Great live bands in an outdoor setting overlooking the yacht basin. Terrific view, cold beer and live music, what could be better!
